Types of Lines

The structure formed by joining two rays going in exactly opposite directions, with a common starting point, goes on and on in both directions. It is called a line

A line is a straight path that extends on and on in both directions without ever ending.

The lines that never intersect each other are called parallel lines.

Lines which meet each other, or intersect are called intersecting lines.

Lines which intersect, forming a right angle are called perpendicular lines.
